About the Project

Before, things were hard. I was lonely, sad, and often in a cold space with no windows. My favorite part of the day was taking a shower. The shower wasn't nice, it looked something like this one, but it was the only place I felt safe. I was warm there, and it was just me. I felt like I could wash away each day and try to have some time for just me. Showers are still my happy place where I do all my best thinking and learning about myself. I feel like I can always count on a good shower to process and feel anything I'm going through.
