At the September Brunch and Brainstorm event, Framework provided space for grantees to reflect on workforce challenges, shifting resources, and the importance of data-informed strategies. Partners reported funding limitations and resource gaps as well as challenges in meeting prior reporting standards while aligning with new federal language. Despite these constraints, providers remain committed to offering services and continue to leverage inter-agency collaboration to locate resources. Referencing workforce types and job categories, such as in the Polaris report, can help frame needs in ways that align with administrative interests while protecting clients, and using aggregated data remains important. Participants also emphasized the value of partnering with community organizations, such as churches and community centers, to share “know your rights” materials. The monthly spotlight featured Permagrove, a Harvard-based data team offering strategic consulting to help organizations use federal and regional data to guide program strategy, identify service gaps, and access partnerships. Participants also engaged in an activity designed to help individuals and communities safely express complexity, build self-awareness, and reconnect. Looking ahead, Framework will expand the Learning Collaborative in size and change facilitation, with a new model launching in January 2026 that will be open to all.
