Beginning in Fiscal Year 2023 (FY23), the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) added language on ‘Strengthening Responses to Labor Trafficking” to their ‘Mandatory Program Requirements’ section of their solicitations’ Request for Applications. Beginning FY24, they also added language on ‘Ensuring Access to Support for Male Victims’.
Framework has created it’s monthly office hours inspired event, ‘Brunch & Brainstorm: Building Capacity to Combat Labor Trafficking’, around these expectations so that new OVC human trafficking grantees can be supported in serving labor trafficking survivors. Brunch & Brainstorm is held on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 12-1pm EST.
